Parenting Education & Family Support

Parents are the child's first teacher, yet many lack the tools to guide their children in a fast-changing world. NFF runs parenting workshops based on the book "Parents Guidance & Personal Care for Children: A Role of Keeping Children Safe and Healthy", equipping parents, caregivers, and children guardians with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to raise healthy, well-adjusted children.

Key Challenges

  • Adult literacy remains uneven: 82.8% nationally, with lower rates in rural areas

  • Girls and rural children face higher dropout rates due to WASH challenges, distance, and limited support

  • Parents struggle with:

    • Balancing work and parenting

    • Managing children’s behavior

    • Ensuring proper health, hygiene, and care
